Irresponsible Purchase (IP) is an indie rock band based out of Toronto, Ontario. Members include Ella Morreale on guitar and lead vocals, Lenny McGowan on bass, Maddy James on lead guitar, Doug McBrien on drums, and Miles Lounsbury on keys. The group was formed right after Ella, Lenny, and Maddy finished high school in 2020. After moving from Hamilton to Toronto, they recruited Miles and Doug to join them on keys and drums. They have since been playing shows around Ontario (and Montreal!). Their first EP, Now We’re Playing, is out now, with more music to come very soon!
